Ian Coggins brings over many years of experience in political campaigns, having worked in both volunteer and consulting roles across local and state efforts. His ability to build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds has been key to his success in advancing progressive policies through strategic campaigns.

At Siegel Long Public Affairs, Ian has helped lead critical initiatives, including raising the minimum wage in the City of Boulder, protecting workers from unfair wage cuts, and advancing consumer protections to guard against predatory business practices. His work reflects a deep commitment to economic justice and community empowerment.

Ian earned both his B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado Denver, graduating summa cum laude and focusing his graduate studies on local government systems.

A proud Coloradoan, Ian spends his free time exploring the state with his wife and two kids—often in search of new lakes and rivers to fish.
